Paperific started in 2000 as the Melbourne Paper Arts Expo at St Kilda Town Hall. Five years later the name was changed to Paperific Expo. Paperific was the vision of Stacey Apeitos who was the founder and previous owner of Paperific. In August 2009, Naomi Swan acquired Paperific.
Paperific now has two shows a year at the Melbourne Showgrounds. It attracts exhibitors and visitors from across Australia, New Zealand and beyond, providing retail products, classes and free demonstrations to the general public. Every expo is a showcase for a wide a range of papercraft retailers. Of course, because of their popularity, scrapbooking and stamping are always particularly well represented.
Our motto is “Heaven on Earth for Papercraft Lovers!” – that’s what you can expect from the Melbourne Paperific Expo. Make sure you set aside a full day (or even two or three!) to come along and enjoy the show.
